Table Pan Full
A recipe for easy, flavorful, meatless baked ziti for about 18 people?
i have an aluminum baking pan actually it's called full size deep steam table. it's about 19 x 11 would this be okay to make baked ziti in?
Baked Ziti -- This serves 14 but for a potluck and such this should be enough. You might want to make it in 2 pans and not just one.
INGREDIENTS
2 (16 ounce) packages ziti pasta
3 pounds ricotta cheese
2 pounds shredded mozzarella cheese
2 egg, beaten
2 (32 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and rinse.
In a medium bowl, mix ziti, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg and 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and spoon in ziti mixture. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce, followed by Parmesan cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes; let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
