Skillet Grill
I got a cast iron skillet/grill for christmas? HELP PLEASE?
It says its preseasoned and to just wipe it down with hot water and spray with vegetable oil. It fits over 2 burners. I want to make pancakes on it. How hot should I set my burners? Do I have to put anything else on it? wil it be NONStick?
Your cast iron skillet will be the best skillet you will ever own. Use it the same as any other skillet - you'll know if the heat is too high.
After we use ours, my husband washes it, coats it with oil, heats it in the oven to cure it before we put it away.
This will preserve your "seasoned" pan.
