Which is better when buying cookware: enamel or porcelain?

I want to purchase a new cookware set, but I don't like those non-stick coated pans (because they scratch off). So its either porcelain or enamel are my nonstick options, but I've never used the before so I don't know which is better and the last time I bought pots I went on the clerk's reccomendation and they were just expensive junk so I thought I'd ask people who have no stake in my purchasing pots. Thanks
